Race Start Times
There will be 3 (three) start waves.

  1. 8:25am  Wave 1 – Long Course: Female 50+ and older; Male 60+ and older; All Juniors, All OC1 & 2, and Sea Kayaks

  2. 8:35am  Wave 2 – Long Course: Female Open & 40+; Male Open, 40+ & 50+; All Doubles

  3. 8:38am  Wave 3 – Short Course: All craft, all ages (including SUP)

Race Numbers

From 2023, the HR Series will no longer use race number stickers. Old HR race stickers should be removed from your craft prior to competing in the current Series.

  • Paddlers will receive a Race Number Card at check-in for use at that race only.

  • The Race Number Card should be firmly affixed to the top surface at the rear of your craft. It must be easily visible to the Timekeepers and Race Officials.

  • Paddlers need to supply their own race number holder.

  • Paddlers MUST RETURN the Race Number Card as soon as they complete the race to the registration desk.

The race results and medals along with the series prizes and Club Trophy will be presented after the race.

Due to the Bundeena Ferry schedule, the start times for this race are slightly different to the other races in this Series:

Boat Numbers

  • Collect boat numbers from paddler check-in.

  • Return boat numbers immediately after you finish paddling.

  • You need to bring your own Race Number holder. These can be purchased when you register or at the event.

  • Remove old HR Series stickers from your craft before you participate in this series.
