At the heart of the Learn to Paddle Now story lies the Vesely family, a name synonymous with paddling excellence in Australia. Led by the indomitable Mario Vesely, our journey is one of passion, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in the sport we love.

Mario's own story is nothing short of inspiring. Hailing from Czechoslovakia, he brought with him a wealth of experience in sprint kayaking when he moved to Australia at the age of 18. Fast forward to today, and Mario has not only made Australia his home but has also established Learn To Paddle Now, a hub for paddling enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.

With three talented children – Nicci, Ziko, and Carlito – Mario is thrilled to share his passion for paddling with the next generation. For the Vesely family, paddling isn't just a hobby – it's a way of life. From early morning paddles to afternoon gym sessions, our days are filled with the rhythm of the ocean and the thrill of the race.
